Senator Sani offsets N300,000 fee For Eye surgery of 4 Year Old Boy


Kaduna State Senator representing Kaduna Central senatorial district, Senator Shehu Sani yesterday offset the eye surgery fee of N300,000 of a four year old boy, Ibrahim Salisu who has an ailment in one of his eyes with a resemblance of a cancer.
Presenting the cheque to the parents of the boy on behalf of the Senator, the Special Adviser political to the Senator, Suleiman Ahmed said the gesture was part of the senators commitment to touching lives of people of his constituency in any way positive.
According to him, “We are here today to present a cheque of 300,000 as surgery fees for a small boy (Ibrahim) who has been suffering from an ailment for the past two years.
“Distinguish Senator Shehu Sani during one of his assessment of federal establishment within his senatorial zone‎ visited the National Eye centre, Kaduna where he was approached by the parents of this boy for assistance which he promised to do.
” Today, in fulfilment of that promise, he is offering the amount meant for the operation. The boy has a protrusion in one of his eyes which affected part of his skull and the doctor said if the eye is not operated upon, it could affect the other eye” he disclosed‎ while praying that God will completely heal the boy.
In their response, the ‎boy’s father Umar Salisu and
Mother Jamila Umar Salisu ‎thanked the senator for his magnanimity and prayed God to bless him and increase him politically.

According to them, “the boy was not born with the ailment but we just saw him with it all of a sudden and we have been battling to find solution to it for. Almost two years but to no avail until the senator came to our aid, we are indeed grateful to him for the assistance” they prayed.
